10km Bike Ride - Sunday 8th August 2010

A huge well done and thank you to Annalise (aged 8), Sophie and Grace (aged 10) on completing a 10 km bike ride between Knottingley and Beal in 30 minutes! The girls came up with the idea all by themselves and have raised approximately £600 for Caitlin’s Fund!

Caitlin’s Walk - Sunday 15th August 2010

A big thank you to Lynne Woodhead and Roy Outram (who are regular walkers and members of the Ramblers Association) for leading 19 of us safely on a 6 mile circular walk from East Hardwick, through Low and High Ackworth.

Also, a huge thank you to everyone who came along and took part. Caitlin also joined us for the first mile and we were met with a number of people on route who kindly donated to Caitlin’s Fund. It was an enjoyable morning and the weather was very kind to us!

Many thanks also to The Kyte Hotel, Darrington for accommodating us and enabling to us to enjoy a well deserved Sunday lunch and celebrate Helen’s birthday!!

2 Hour Aerobathon

Wednesday 1st September 2010, 6.30pm – 8.30pm at Knottingley Sports Centre

Join us and take part in a 2 hour aerobathon led by qualified instructor, Kate Jackson. Kate will be leading aerobic and toning exercises to music which can be adapted for all levels of fitness.

Entry price for the aerobathon is £5.00 per person. You can enter using the button below to pay on line or by paying us in person either before or on the day.

As this is a sponsored aerobathon, any donations/sponsors you can raise individually would be greatly received. Please see below to download our sponsor form (should you have any problems downloading this we would be happy to post one to you).

Fishing Match

Wednesday 8th September at 10.00am at Lindholme Lake

Anyone with an interest in fishing can go along and take part in this fishing match. The cost is £15 to fish (which includes £7 peg fee; £5 pot and £3 to Caitlin’s Fund). The draw is at 10.00am with fishing taking place between 11.00am and 5.00pm.

For an extra £3 (for Caitlin’s Fund) you can enter your peg number into the raffle draw.

Presentation and raffle draw will take place in the club house after the match!

All are welcome to bring a friend!
